Had-Asaf Industries Ltd. (hereinafter: “the Company”) and its subsidiaries (hereinafter: “the Group”) is a group of industrial companies operating primarily in the steel sector, mainly in Israel. The Group is engaged primarily in the production, processing, and trading of steel products for concrete reinforcement (such as rebar, processed steel, construction meshes, prefabricated elements and piles, metal wires, etc.), which are generally marketed in Israel to the construction, infrastructure, agriculture, defense, and industrial sectors.
Additionally, the Group has operations in Romania involving the trade of steel, production of steel wires, galvanized wires, meshes, and lifting cables; as well as operations in Israel involving the import, marketing, trading, and supply of tools and complementary building products.
The Company was incorporated on May 22, 1947, as a private company. In November 1992, it became a public company, and its securities began trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Ltd. The controlling shareholder of the Company is Mr. Avraham (Rami) Shani.

Business Segments
The operations of Had-Asaf Industries Ltd. are carried out through its subsidiaries and are divided into three main business segments:
- Steel Production for Concrete Reinforcement – In this segment, the Group is engaged in the production, processing, and trading of steel products for concrete reinforcement. This activity is carried out in Israel.
- Operations in Romania – Involves the trade of steel and the production of steel wires, galvanized wires, meshes, and lifting cables.
- Complementary Building Products – Involves the import, marketing, trading, and supply of tools and complementary building products, as well as the marketing of the Group’s own steel reinforcement products to small and medium-sized contractors.
In addition, the Group has other operations conducted in Israel, each of which does not constitute a separate business segment. These include:

- The import, processing, marketing, and sale of wood and wood products.
